uParcel Receives Prestigious Progressive Wage Mark Accreditation of our Commitment to Fair and Sustainable Wage Practices
The Progressive Wage (PW) Mark serves as a distinguished accreditation scheme designed to commend organizations that prioritize paying progressive wages to their lower-wage employees. Administered by the Singapore Business Federation, this program is endorsed by the Tripartite Partners, a collective effort involving the Ministry of Manpower (MOM), National Trades Union Congress (NTUC), and Singapore National Employers Federation (SNEF). The primary objective of this initiative is to enhance the livelihoods and financial well-being of lower-wage workers in Singapore.
The genesis of the PW Mark accreditation scheme can be traced back to the Tripartite Workgroup on Lower-Wage Workers Report, which was published and officially endorsed by the Government in August 2021. As a direct outcome of this report, the PW Mark was introduced to recognize organizations that champion progressive wage models and uphold a steadfast commitment to fair and sustainable wage practices.
