Join Us In Lending A Helping Hand With Food From The Heart

During this Circuit Breaker, some people are having it worse than others. Some have food insecurity, others have lost their jobs.

uParcel has partnered Food from the Heart to help deliver food to some lower-income households during this period as the number of volunteers dropped significantly. 

 

What is Food from the Heart? 

They are a charity organization that feeds the needy in Singapore. Prior to Circuit Breaker, they have relied on volunteer teams from schools, corporations or non-government organizations (NGOs) for their food packing operations. They also used to distribute food through their distributing centres but they have shut down as Circuit Breaker ensued. 

So how does uParcel come into place in this situation? People who have volunteered as an agent will help to send food packages to the doorsteps of about 1,000 households who are not able to collect from their usual distribution centres.
