uParcel’s September Peak Mooncake Delivery Could Earn a Paris Trip 🇫🇷🥮
Mid-Autumn comes once a year. So does the annual moment of mooncakes gifting. Do a seasonal delivery this September with uParcel, fly yourself to Paris. At least 40 drops a day, at $8 take home. That's almost $7000+ in 3 weeks! This September-only seasonal deliveries built around clustered zones and auto-optimised routes. Miss the cycle, and you have to wait for it next year. Read programme details here. Why clustered September routes matter? The practical value is choosing delivery zones close to home, while slots remain available. Clustered drops can mean less petrol. You also enjoy fewer long hops between deliveries, more stops within a sensible area. There is a catch, naturally. Zones fill up. Choosing late may mean your preferred area is already taken. WhatsApp Us Now To Apply (+65 8999 6043) Auto-routed drops, not a puzzle at breakfast Auto-optimised routes remove one of delivery work’s least glamorous jobs: manually deciding what goes where and in what order. Instead of playing part-time logistics planner before your first coffee, you receive a route arranged for the day’s drops. Optimisation does not magically eliminate traffic, rain or the person who writes ‘call me when downstairs’ and then vanishes. But it can reduce avoidable backtracking, helping seasonal delivery runs feel less like a scavenger hunt. A seasonal route with an actual deadline For anyone already considering September delivery work, the appeal is straightforward: select a nearby available zone, complete a clustered, planned route, and check the campaign terms for eligibility and trip details. The Paris incentive is the headline; saving fuel and time may be the part that makes the route worth doing even before the boarding pass enters the picture. September is brief. Mooncake season is briefer. Pick your zone before somebody else picks the one five minutes from your front door.
How to Become a Shopee Delivery Partner in Singapore (SPX vs Third-Party Logistics)
If you are searching for Shopee delivery partner or rider opportunities in Singapore, the first thing to understand is that Shopee does not run a public, open sign-up portal for individual riders to join its platform directly. Shopee deliveries in Singapore are fulfilled through two distinct channels: SPX Logistics, Shopee's in-house logistics arm, and approved third-party logistics companies who handle last-mile delivery on behalf of Shopee sellers. This article walks through both routes, how each works, and what the requirements are. and limitations are, and why delivery drivers and fleet operators are looking for faster entry and more flexible earnings may find a third-party route more practical than waiting for SPX onboarding availability. How Shopee Delivery Works in Singapore Shopee is one of Singapore's most active ecommerce platforms, processing a significant volume of orders every day across categories from electronics to fresh groceries. To manage last-mile delivery at this scale, Shopee relies on two parallel channels rather than a single in-house network. SPX Logistics is Shopee's own logistics subsidiary. It operates delivery zones across Singapore and recruits delivery partners to work within its controlled network. Riders who join SPX deliver Shopee orders as part of Shopee's own infrastructure. Third-party logistics (3PL) partners are independent logistics companies approved to fulfill Shopee orders on behalf of sellers who choose not to use SPX or where SPX capacity does not meet seller demand. These companies operate their own delivery networks and recruit riders and drivers independently. Because there is no public direct sign-up channel through Shopee itself, anyone looking to deliver Shopee orders in Singapore must enter through one of these two routes. Understanding the difference between them is what determines how quickly you can start, how much flexibility you will have, and how much work you can expect. Option 1: Become a Shopee Delivery Partner via SPX Logistics What Is SPX Logistics? SPX Logistics is Shopee's in-house logistics arm, responsible for last-mile delivery of Shopee orders across Singapore. Riders working under SPX operate as part of Shopee's own delivery network delivering exclusively for Shopee and working within the zones and schedules SPX manages centrally. For individuals who specifically want to be part of Shopee's own delivery infrastructure, SPX is the direct route. Steps to Join SPX Logistics as a Delivery Partner The application process for SPX Logistics as a delivery partner generally involves the following steps: Submit an application via the SPX Logistics recruitment or sign-up page Meet vehicle and license requirements SPX typically requires a valid Singapore driving or riding license appropriate to your vehicle type (motorcycle, car, or van) Complete onboarding, including delivery protocol briefings and any required platform orientation Await zone assignment and activation approval and job availability depend on SPX's current headcount needs in your area Note that SPX manages its delivery headcount based on operational demand, so the availability of onboarding slots varies. During periods when a zone's delivery capacity is already met, applications may face delays or be placed in a queue until slots open. Limitations of SPX Logistics for Delivery Partners SPX Logistics is a structured and legitimate pathway but it comes with constraints that are worth understanding before committing: Limited and variable onboarding slots: SPX controls its network headcount carefully. Riders who apply when the zone capacity is full may wait significantly longer before being activated Fixed routes and schedules: SPX sets delivery zones and operating windows centrally. Partners have limited say over which areas they cover or when their shifts run Platform-only delivery: Jobs through SPX are Shopee orders exclusively. During slower sales periods, daily job volume can drop without the buffer of orders from other platforms Not suited to fleet operators: Individuals looking to operate multiple vehicles or grow a delivery business will find SPX's structure limiting, it is primarily designed for individual rider participation No passive income streams: SPX does not offer supplementary income programs alongside delivery earnings Option 2: Become a Shopee Delivery Partner via Third-Party Logistics Shopee works with a network of approved third-party logistics providers to fulfill orders for sellers who use their own logistics arrangements rather than SPX. These logistics companies operate independently managing their own delivery staff, vehicles, and job allocation and handle Shopee orders alongside deliveries for other platforms and businesses. For a rider or driver joining one of these 3PL companies, the working model is different from SPX in an important way: you are contracted to the logistics provider, not to Shopee directly. Your daily job queue may include Shopee orders, but also orders from Lazada, TikTok Shop, and direct-to-consumer brands which means your income is not tied to any single platform's daily order volume. This route tends to offer a more accessible onboarding, more predictable job llocation, and better support for fleet operators who want to grow beyond a single-vehicle operation. uParcel as a Third-Party Shopee Delivery Partner in Singapore uParcel is a Singapore-based logistics platform that works with ecommerce sellers across Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop, and direct-to-consumer channels. Shopee sellers using uParcel as their delivery provider have their orders fulfilled through uParcel's island-wide delivery network which means drivers and riders working with uParcel regularly fulfill Shopee orders as part of their daily job allocation. uParcel recruits delivery partners through its Sub-Contractor Programme, a structured pathway for individual drivers, riders, and fleet operators to join uParcel's delivery network, get assigned to reserved zones, and start earning from multi-platform delivery work across Singapore. uParcel Sub-Contractor Programme: How It Works Who Can Join The uParcel Sub-Contractor Programme is open to: Individual car and van drivers with a valid Singapore driving license Motorcycle delivery riders looking for a consistent, zone-based work structure Fleet owners operating two or more vehicles who want access to a steady pipeline of reserved delivery jobs Existing marketplace delivery partners looking to expand their income beyond a single platform No specific prior experience with Shopee or any other marketplace is required. What matters is having the appropriate vehicle, a valid Singapore driving or riding license, and the ability to reliably fulfill deliveries within your selected zones. Benefits of Joining the uParcel Sub-Contractor Programme Reserved jobs in fixed delivery zones Unlike dynamic dispatch platforms where jobs go to whoever accepts fastest, uParcel sub-contractors receive reserved delivery jobs within their assigned zones. This means more predictable daily volume and less competition for each individual job. Faster onboarding than SPX uParcel's sub-contractor onboarding process is designed to get partners operational quickly. For drivers who need to start earning without waiting through uncertain SPX queue timelines, this is a meaningful practical advantage. Same-day and scheduled delivery jobs Job types span same-day delivery, time-slot scheduled deliveries, and bulk dispatch jobs giving partners a range of work types and the ability to plan their working day will be more effectively. Multi-platform delivery volume Sub-contractors fulfill orders across Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop, and direct-to-consumer brands. This diversification means your daily job volume is not exposed to dips on any single platform. Fleet scaling support For operators running multiple vehicles, uParcel's programme supports adding capacity progressively giving fleet owners a clear path to growing their operation as zone demand increases, rather than being capped at a fixed number of jobs. Car Decal Programme — additional passive income uParcel sub-contractors can join the Car Decal Programme, which pays additional passive income for displaying uParcel branding on your vehicle. This income runs alongside regular delivery earnings with no extra workload required. For more detail on what the sub-contractor role involves day to day, the guide on becoming a uParcel sub-contractor covers the full picture. Steps to Become a uParcel Sub-Contractor in Singapore Apply online — submit your sub-contractor application at www.uparcel.sg with your vehicle details and license information Select your delivery zones and capacity — choose the areas of Singapore you want to cover and indicate your daily delivery capacity Complete onboarding — platform orientation and delivery protocol guidance Receive your reserved job allocation — jobs are assigned to your zones before the delivery day, giving you visibility of your workload in advance Start delivering and earning — fulfill same-day and scheduled delivery jobs across Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop, and D2C brands Scale your operation — add vehicles and drivers to your fleet as your zone capacity and income grow SPX Logistics vs uParcel: Which Is Better for Shopee Delivery Partners? SPX Logistics uParcel Sub-Contractor How to sign up Apply via SPX Logistics recruitment page Apply via uParcel Sub-Contractor Programme at uparcel.sg Approval speed Depends on zone headcount — can be slow Faster, more consistent onboarding process Job allocation Dynamic, demand-dependent Reserved jobs in assigned zones Zone flexibility Fixed routes set by SPX Choose your own preferred delivery zones Fleet support Limited — designed for individual riders Full fleet scaling support for multiple vehicles Multi-platform delivery Shopee orders only Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop, and D2C brands Passive income Not available Car Decal Programme Best suited for Individual riders wanting to work within Shopee's own network Drivers, riders, and fleet operators wanting flexible, multi-platform delivery work Conclusion Becoming a Shopee delivery partner in Singapore requires choosing the right entry point for your situation. SPX Logistics is Shopee's own delivery network and a valid option but onboarding slots are limited, routes are fixed, and the model is primarily designed for individual riders delivering Shopee orders exclusively. The third-party logistics route gives drivers, riders, and fleet operators a faster and more flexible path. Working with a provider like uParcel means reserved zone jobs, multi-platform delivery volume across Shopee and other channels, and the ability to grow a fleet rather than being limited to a single platform's daily order fluctuations. If you are looking to start delivering without waiting on SPX slot availability, the uParcel Sub-Contractor Programme is open to individual riders, car and van drivers, and fleet owners across Singapore. Apply at www.uparcel.sg, select your delivery zones, and get assigned to reserved jobs faster. Top 5 Franchise Ideas in Singapore (2026): Honest Side Hustle Comparison
Thinking of starting a side hustle in Singapore, but not keen to build everything from scratch? Consider franchising a concept with ready infrastructure, proven SOPs, and built-in brand recognition. It’s plug-and-play where the systems, suppliers, and playbook are already set up so you just have to operate instead of reinventing the wheel. Honest Franchise Reviews : Top 5 Franchise Ideas in Singapore We’ve rounded up the top 5 franchise opportunities in Singapore, and helped you assess them based on 3 key criteria that matter if you’re building this as a side hustle. Use this as your quick reference guide. How We Scored The Options METRIC WHAT IT MEASURES Upfront Costs Total capital needed to launch Monthly Maintenance Ongoing costs to keep running Passiveness How much it runs without you $ = Low $$ = Medium $$$ = High #1 Vending Machine Franchise: iJooz, InstaChef Vending machines have a passive appeal. They run 24/7, can earn while you are not around. But food and fresh juice machines need frequent restocking, maintenance, and proper location deals. The model works best if you have a competitive location and servicing teams. Best for : Patient operators who reinvest and grow slowly. Watch out for : Stock wastage, machine breakdowns, and securing good locations. #2 Gym /Spa : Anytime Fitness, K Skin Gym franchises are premium businesses with premium price tags. Getting into a brand like Anytime Fitness requires significant capital. There will be fit-out, equipment, franchise fees, and the rental of a large commercial unit which can be brutal. The upside is a recurring membership model that can be profitable at scale. The downside is that it might need a committed manager on-site and constant attention to member experience, equipment maintenance, and retention. Best for : Investors who can afford a manager & marketing team, and treat it as a full business investment Watch out for : Member churn, equipment costs, and the gap between opening and break-even #3 F&B Kiosk : Bubble Tea, Luckin, Chagee The concept has track records, and the barrier to entry is relatively manageable compared to full restaurants. But F&B is Singapore's most unforgiving industry. Location is everything. Rent can take up 40% of revenue. Staff are hard to retain. Food costs fluctuate. And you will be needed on the ground, especially in the early months. This is a business that rewards hard work and punishes absentee ownership. Best for : Hands-on operators who want to be in the thick of it and have an appetite for F&B Watch out for : Anyone expecting to run this as a true side income without significant daily involvement #4 Delivery Logistics : uParcel Zone Franchise uParcel zone delivery franchising is a novel addition to the traditional franchise model. Most franchises and businesses still require you to hustle for customers. You market, you pitch, and you compete. The uParcel Delivery Zone Franchise flips this entirely. When you franchise a delivery zone, you're assigned an exclusive geographic territory within Singapore. Every delivery job booked within that zone automatically flows to your fleet. You don't chase the work. The work finds you. With ready tech, AI-optimised routing, and an existing demand engine, it is a plug-in logistics play built for operators who want recurring volume without building the system from scratch. Best for : Operators who want structured, recurring work without building tech, branding, or starting a business with zero demand. Watch out for : Driver reliability, and customer ratings. #5 F&B Brand Franchise : Yakun, Beauty In A Pot These are brands that Singapore customers already know and trust. That brand recognition translates to potentially easier customer acquisition and a built-in audience from day one. The trade-off is a steep price of entry. Franchise fees for established F&B brands can run into the hundreds of thousands before you've spent a dollar on rent, fit-out, or staff. You're then locked into tight brand standards and operational requirements. It's a powerful mode but absolutely a full-time business, not a side project. Best For : Entrepreneurs tapping into a daily-need F&B brand loved by Singaporeans, with proven recipes and familiar flavors. Watch Out For : High franchise fees, mandatory brand-standard renovations, and exclusive supply chains from the franchisor. The Singapore Franchise Opportunities Scorecord This is the scorecard we’ve put together, ranking each franchise option based on upfront cost, monthly maintenance, and how passive the business can run. From the comparison, it’s clear that the uParcel Delivery Zone Franchise stands out with attractive initial investment and ongoing maintenance, while also subjected to less competition than the other options, making it a smart choice for entrepreneurs looking for building a side business with manageable start. Fig 1: Scorecard table comparing the top franchise opportunities in Singapore (2026) Final Thoughts: Choose Based on Lifestyle, Not Just Profit Franchising can be one of the fastest ways to start a business in Singapore without building everything from zero. The systems are ready. The branding is established. The operational playbook is already tested. But not all franchises are created equal especially if you're starting this as a side hustle. Some models demand heavy capital and full-time involvement. Others look passive but require constant operational attention behind the scenes. The real question is not just “How much can I earn?” but also: How much time can I commit? How much risk am I comfortable with? Do I want hands-on daily operations or structured recurring volume? If you're looking for a business that runs largely on manpower and location, vending or F&B may suit you. If you're prepared for a full-scale investment, gyms and established F&B brands offer brand power with higher stakes. For those who prefer a structured system with built-in demand and scalable operations, the logistics franchise model introduces a different kind of opportunity, one built around territory control and recurring job flow rather than walk-in customers. At the end of the day, the best franchise is the one aligned with your capital, capacity, and long-term goals. Choose wisely. Scale intentionally. And build something sustainable, not just exciting.
